Tailor-made social gaming communities
All our media partners gain additional content and revenues through our games. Some of our partners see online games as one of their future core businesses. For those partners, WWG has developed a technology to build social gaming communities.
In early 2008, WWG was the first company to combine the best of massive multiplayer browser games and social communities. In an effort to improve the social gaming experience of our users we developed a portal technology that included news feeds of in-game activities as well as a unique scoring system that allows gamers to compare with each other across different games.
A showcase of our portal technology can be seen at www.playnik.com, the gaming portal operated by WWG. In recent months we launched further portals for large media partners:
WWG’s core business is to publish online games. The aim of providing our technology to our partners is to form the basis of a long-term relationship. We are interested in building a community for our partners, jointly benefiting from the revenue share opportunities of our partnership.
