next idea GmbH, parent company of the international online games publisher Looki, acquired wwg worldwidegames GmbH located in Hamburg/Germany. The acquisition includes the portal playnik.com and all of their private brands. The acquisition of this internationally established publisher, enables next idea GmbH to broaden its activities in the online gaming field strategically. Simultaneously wwg will be capable to utilize Looki’s distribution channels to create an even stronger awareness in the market for their high-quality games, Rage of Storms (building-strategy game) and Desert Blitz (round-based-strategy game).
Enjoy Games GmbH, who’s major share is owned by next idea GmbH, will be responsible for the further development and the support of wwg’s games. Furthermore Looki and wwg will interchange their partner network to be capable of placing their titles even more significantly in the markets.
